We’ve spent over ten years building wine experiences in Napa and Sonoma, hosting visitors who fall in love with our corner of California. In 2021, an Italian exchange student joined our family for her senior year of high school, and through her and her wonderful family, we have grown to love Italy in ways we’d never imagined.

Traveling with her family transformed how we see the country. Her grandmother fed us fresh cappelletti in her kitchen while sharing stories of generations growing up in Le Marche. We wandered through village streets that tourists never find, tasted wines at family vineyards, and learned why certain piazzas hold special meaning for locals. These weren’t just vacation moments but genuine connections that showed us Italy’s heart.

That’s how Simply Italy came to be. We wanted to create the kind of travel experiences that go beyond guidebooks and tour groups. Our itineraries focus on food, wine, and the cultural stories that make each region unique. We handle the logistics so you can focus on the experience itself.
